Nashville, Tenn. – Baptist Sports Medicine is pleased to announce that it will offer free basic injury evaluations on Saturday mornings starting October 4 through November 25.

The service, which is offered to the general public with sports related injuries, is a Baptist Sports Medicine community service initiative designed to minimize the number of people who unnecessarily end up in emergency rooms due to minor injuries.

“We are thrilled to bring this free service to Middle Tennessee athletes and families,” said Trent Nessler, managing director for Baptist Sports Medicine. “We hope that athletes will take advantage of this opportunity to seek medical attention, free of charge.”

There is no cost for the evaluations which take place from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. at the downtown Baptist Sports Medicine clinic located at Baptist Plaza II, 2021 Church Street in Nashville. All evaluations will be performed by a certified Athletic Trainer or Physical Therapist.
